1975 was the year I was introduced to computers. Joining a major multi-national company as a computer operator on a 24 hour rotating shift was a real eye opener. The huge 40 foot long ICL computer had 96 kb of memory. How technology has changed!
The next 25 years were spent in Information Technology. It was a satisfying career as a computer programmer and analyst with a multi-national company. I worked on a variety of projects including distribution systems, invoicing, payroll (for 2500 people) and Y2K.
In 1997 I started selling products on the internet which resulted in my first website.
The end of 2000 saw a new direction in my life. I was asked to design websites for friends' businesses and turned this into a full time job. Bizlinks Developments Ltd was formed in April 2001.
My wife Julie joined Bizlinks in 2005 and looks after the accounts as well as helping with website maintenance.
